Budgam Admin directs transport facility through Bathara area
ADDC takes cognizance of public grievances, emphasises on timely redressal
BUDGAM, JANUARY 28: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Budgam Khurshid Ahmad Sanai today directed ARTO office Budgam to start public transport service through the village Bathara in Budgam.
These directions were passed by the ADDC during a meeting with a local delegation from Bathara village at his office chamber. The meeting was attended by officers from PHE, Irrigation, ARTO and other concerned departments.
During the meeting, the locals raised various demands including removal of encroachment on irrigation canals, plying of public transport between Srinagar-Budgam through their village, development of roads, developmental works under MGNREGA, improvement in electricity and drinking water supply and separate road connectivity to the nearby Budgam Railway station.
Taking cognizance of their grievances, the ADDC directed the concerned officers to ensure prompt redressal of their demands.
He ensured that all their demands would be taken up with the concerned officers for their timely redressal.
