Bandipora, 04 July: The Hassan Khuehami Degree College Bandipora organised one day blood donation camp in collaboration with department of Hematology & Transfusion Medicine SMHS hospital Srinagar.
The camp was held under the chairmanship of Professor Gh Ahmad Lone, of the College.
On the occasion Prof. Gh Ahmad Lone of the College highlighted the importance of blood donation as a noble cause. More than 70 points were donated by the volunteers besides teaching and non-teaching fraternity.
The Team of doctors assured the students that their blood will be served to save poor and needy persons life. Doctors and paramedic staff also expressed satisfaction over the response and interest shown by students in donating blood.
A student of BG 3rd year said she feels happy in donating blood and expressed her will to keep donating in life as if it serves or saves someone’s life.
