Pampore, April 6: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Unit of Pulwama celebrated the party’s 45th Foundation Day at the BJP office in the Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The event was led by BJP Pulwama President Er. Showkat Gayoor Andrabi, who was joined by prominent leaders including Mohammad Asif Ganaie, Javaid Ahmad Qadri, Avtar Singh, Nisar Ahmad, Syed Asrar, Farooq Ahmad, Javaid Ahmad Shah, Bashir Ahmad Mir, Payees Ahmad, and several other party functionaries and workers from across the district.
As part of the celebration, Er. Showkat Gayoor Andrabi and other senior leaders hoisted the party flag at the Pampore BJP office. The leaders also extended their greetings to party members on the occasion of BJP’s Foundation Day and reflected on the party’s journey and achievements over the years.
Speaking to Kashmir Convener, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President of Pulwama, Er. Showkat Gayoor Andrabi, said that a huge number of party workers from various constituencies of Pulwama district also participated in the programme.
He further said that over the past 46 years since the foundation of the BJP, all the contributions, works, developments, and schemes were highlighted during today’s event.
He said in Jammu and Kashmir, all the developments that have taken place over the past 11 years—especially the most significant one, which is the end of bloodshed. “we salute this government, this governance, the Modi Mission, the Modi government, and Amit Shah, who have brought peace to Jammu and Kashmir,” he said, adding, “Today, we celebrated the Foundation Day with party leaders and party workers at Saffron Town area of Pulwama district”.
