Baramulla 09 Feb 2020: Baramulla Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested three gamblers from a gambling Site.
An official said that a police party from Police station Baramulla raided gambling site following an input about gambling activities at Sangri Colony Baramulla. All gamblers from Baramulla.
He said the Police seized playing cards and Stake amount of ₹15430/ from the gamblers. " Case FIR No 7/2020 u/a 13 gambling act has been registered in Police Station Baramulla Persons found indulging in criminal activities shall be dealt as per law, " He added. "Community members are requested to share information regarding the crime in their neighbourhood with the Local Police Stations".
People of the area have appreciated the role of police for being prompt against such social evils .
