Bandipora Police Reaffirm Zero-Tolerance for Terrorism; Vows to Intensify Anti-Terror operations
SSP Zargar Seeks Public Cooperation for a safer, drug-free district
Bandipora, November 22: Bandipora Police on Saturday vowed to remain vigilant and proactive in anti-terror operations to safeguard the people of Bandipora and sought people’s support to fight terrorism and uphold peace in the district.
Senior Superintendent of Police Ajaz Ahmad Zargar assured the people of Bandipora that the Police will continue to remain vigilant and proactive in anti-terror operations to safeguard the citizens. He was speaking at a public outreach programme held at Bonakote village under the jurisdiction of Police Station Pethkote.
An official spokesperson of Bandipora Police said during the interaction SSP Bandipora emphasized that the police will continue to remain vigilant and proactive to ensure the people of Bandipora are safe. “We are committed to intensifying our efforts against anti-national elements and terrorism to ensure peace and security in Bandipora”.
SSP Zargar said the Community support is crucial in this fight and appealed to people to cooperate with law enforcement for a safe environment. He reiterated the commitment of Bandipora Police to work in close coordination with the community for maintaining peace, ensuring public safety, and creating a drug-free and crime-free environment in the district
During the interaction, SSP Bandipora interacted with the people of the areas and discussed various issues pertaining to law enforcement, public safety, crime prevention, anti-drug efforts, and welfare initiatives.
The participants shared various concerns and also offered constructive suggestions to strengthen police-public cooperation and apprised SSP Zargar about various issues and grievances
SSP Bandipora assured the attendees of timely redressal of their grievances through proper institutional mechanisms. He assured that those grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and those pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concern for timely redressal.
Spokesperson said the participants appreciated the proactive approach of Bandipora Police in reaching out to the community and strengthening public trust through such interactive platforms.
Officials said the public outreach programme aimed at providing a platform for local residents to voice their grievances, concerns, and suggestions related to policing and community welfare. The meeting was also attended by DYSP Hqrs Bandipora and SHO PS Pethkote.
