"Our road was blacktopped last year in September and such a thin layer was laid that it got washed away at maximum points within 48 hours last year, " Said a local Irshad Ahmad. They appealed DC Bandipora Shhabaz Ahmad Mirza to direct the concerned to fulfil their promise by blacktopping the road and punishing the contractor for laying sub-standard material last year.
"An amount if Rs 10 lakh was spend on this Bagh – Pachan road last year and while money got down the drain. There should be accountability fir the misdeed of contractor, " Locals said
