Awantipora, March 03: In continuation of its sustained drive against illegal mining, Awantipora Police have further intensified enforcement efforts across Police District Awantipora. As part of this initiative, Police party from Police Station Tral, led by SHO Tral Inspector Tajamul Islam, seized the three Tippers and three tractors from Nowdal Tral area involved in illegal excavation activities.
Accordingly, case FIR NOs. 19/2026 and 20/2026 under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Tral and further investigation has been initiated.
This proactive action against illegal mining is being actively pursued by all Police Stations of Police District Awantipora.
Awantipora Police remain committed to taking stringent action against violators who exploit night hours for illegal mineral extraction.
