Bandipora, 27 Nov: Indian Army's Bapora unit today organised a seminar on prevention of child Abuse and career councelling at Army Goodwill School here in Bandipora.
The seminar which was attended by more than 50 girl students of AGS, Bandipora was conducted by Umeed Shafi, from Women’s and Child Welfare department, Bandipora while Managing Director Academic Pathways and Ishrat, National Wheelchair Basketball Player from Baramulla were also present on the occassion.
The girl students attending the event were provided awareness about women’s rights against abuse besides carrer councelling by Mr Itrat of Academic Pathways. Miss Ishrat Akhter also shared her life experiences with the students and motivated them to work hard towards achieving their aims. The event was appreciated by the children and staff faculty of AGS who requested for more such events in future.
