Army organises Medical camp, sports activities at Bandipora
Bandipora, November 22: The 13 Rashtriya Rifles Camp Aragam Sunday organised a Medical camp keeping in mind the medical problems and paucity of health care resources in the far flung upper reaches for senior citizens, men, women and children.
Several sports and cultural activities were also organized during the day to entertain the children and make their Sunday a funday. The children participated in drawing competition, games like chess, carrom, lemon race and potato race.
An official spokesperson said the medical team provided quality medical treatment to the residents of chanpal village Aragam AOR. “The camp was attended by 250 men, 300 women and 200 children of Chanpal village”.
Besides Medical camp a number of recreational activities were organised to connect with the locals and gain the pulse of the AOR.
Spokesperson said the residents of chanpal village of Aragam were very grateful to the efforts of the Indian Army and thanked everyone. “This in turn strengthened the bond between the Army and the locals and further improved the Awaam -Army connect”.
