Bandipora, 27 Feb: With an aim to prepare candidates for the upcoming recruitment rally in Bandipora, Army on Saturday organised an awareness programme about various aspects related to recruitment into the Indian Army.
An official spokesperson said Bandipora Rashtriya Rifles liaised with ARO Srinagar and conducted an Awareness Lecture at Sonarwani Camp wherein 118 aspirants from various parts of the Bandipora District were addressed by Col VS Nalawade Director ARO, Srinagar.
In his inaugural speech, Commanding Officer, Bandipora RR addressed the gathering and introduced the speaker. Thereafter, the Director ARO, Srinagar informed the gathering about the salient aspects related to recruitment in great detail. This was followed by a comprehensive question & answer session whereby all the doubts were cleared. The event finally culminated with informal interaction over a cup of tea.
The event was a massive step towards fulfilling the aspirations of the youth in the area and helping them realise their full potential. The Awam expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the Indian Army for organising such a relevant lecture.
