Rajouri, Feb 26: Indian Army Stationed in Rajouri on Monday organised a cleanliness drive as part of the "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'' at Higher Senior Secondary School, Gambhir Muglan village of the district.
The event as per the statement was aimed at educating the students and the resident populace to maintain clean and hygienic surroundings for a healthy lifestyle.
“Various Government schemes and incentives promoting rural hygiene and sanitation were also explained to the participants. They were explained about the need to bring about behavioural changes towards this,” PRO Defence Lt Col Suneel Bartwal said in a statement.
