Karnah, July 20 : The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from close to LoC in Tangdhar sector in Kupwara district in north- Kashmir police said
Two AK 47 , Six pistols, 4 hand grenades, Rs 20,000 Pak currency and many other war like stores were recovered from Amrohi area of karnah police said.
Security forces on Wednesday recovered arms and ammunition from Amrohi near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Karnah sector, police said
Acting on specific information, the police,led team by SHO karnah Shafat Wani along with the army (6JAKRif), launched a cordon and search operation in the Amrohi village area of Karnah, a spokesperson said.
He said during the operation, the joint team recovered arms and ammunition, including Two AK 47 , Six pistols, 4 hand grenades,Rs 20,000 Pak currency and many other war like stores were recovered .
