Apni Party organises convention in Sumbal

Srinagar, Feb 16: Jammu Kashmir Apni Party organised a Workers Convention at Inderkoot Sumbal, Sonawari, where the party witnessed a boost with the joining of social worker Mehraj ud din Najar. 

Alongside him, a contingent comprising workers also joined the ranks. The convention, held under the leadership of Jammu Kashmir Apni Party Vice President Usman Majid, showcased the influence and resonance of the party's vision in the district, an spokesperson said in a statement.

He said that the presence of Usman Majid underscored the party's commitment to grassroots engagement and inclusivity. Jammu Kashmir Apni Party Vice President Usman Majid welcomed the new members, emphasising the party's dedication to creating a platform where every individual's voice is heard and valued.

While addressing the gathering Majid reiterated the vision and agenda for development that sets the Apni Party apart. Emphasizing the party's commitment to addressing the region's challenges, Majid highlighted the need for a forward-looking approach to uplift communities.

Vice President Usman Majid urged the people to remain vigilant against the politics perpetuated by traditional political parties. Majid pointed out that these parties, entrenched in the political landscape for decades, have allegedly contributed to the exploitation and stagnation of Kashmir.

Majid called for a paradigm shift, urging people to align themselves with a party that is committed to development, transparency, and inclusive governance. He emphasized that the Apni Party is the torchbearer of a new era in Kashmir's political landscape.

Senior Leader and Constituency Incharge Sonawari Imtiyaz Parray delivered a critique of the traditional political parties, accusing them of exploiting the people of Kashmir with their slogans and promises. He said that the upcoming Parliament and Assembly elections would be a watershed moment. He expressed confidence that the people, awakened to the strategies of traditional parties, would teach them a lesson through their votes. Parray rallied the crowd to reject the politics and instead choose representatives who prioritize the welfare and progress of the community

Among others who spoke on the occasion were District President Bandipora Syed Shafat Qazmi, Youth President Wasif Mir, Zonal President Sonawari Irshad Ahmad Wani, Mehraj Ud Najar and those who were present includes Provincial Joint Secretary Noor Mohammad, Women District Secretary Sahista Afzal, Vice Zonal President Bandipora Ghulam Nabi, District Secretary, Abdul Rahim, Zonal Secretary Ab Rashid, Vice Youth President Sheeraz Ahmad Wani, DDC Haijn Naza Begum, Block President Naidkhai Mehraj Ud Din, Block President Sumbal Nisar Ahmad, Block President Nowgam Sajad Ahmad, Block President Ajas Manzoor Ahmad, and other senior party workers.
