Anantnag, July 13: In a significant success for the technology-enabled security grid deployed for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, Anantnag Police detained an Over Ground Worker (OGW) at the X-Ray Point Nunwan, after the Facial Recognition System (FRS) generated a timely alert.
The individual has been identified as Faisal Muzaffar, son of Muzaffar Ahmad, a resident of Babhara, Pulwama. Acting swiftly on the FRS alert, police personnel intercepted and apprehended the individual for verification and further legal proceedings.
The successful detection highlights the effectiveness of advanced surveillance systems deployed by Anantnag Police to strengthen security and ensure a safe and peaceful Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
