Bandipora Jan 16: The administration in north Kashmir's Bandipora district on sunday airlifted one critically ill patient from snowbound Badugam Gurez valley to Bandipora for immediate medical relief, officials said.
Officials told that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmed, the patient requiring emergency evacuation from Gurez Sub Division airlifted from Badugam to Bandipora.
Notably, the snow-clad Gurez valley remains cut off from the rest of the Kashmir parts during winters, owing to heavy snowfall in the valley.
