All day flights to operate normally today: Dir Sgr Airport

Says 10 morning flights cancelled due to low visibility; ‘87 flights cancelled in last two days due to inclement weather

Srinagar, Jan 06 : Director Srinagar International Airport, Kuldeep Singh on Thursday said that all day flights will operate normally today as weather has improved even as morning flights were cancelled due to low visibility. 

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Singh said that morning flights were cancelled today as the weather was cloudy but now the operations have been resumed due to improvement in weather.

He said that around 10 flights were cancelled in the morning and for the last two days 87 flights were cancelled due to inclement weather.

Singh said that people who are planning to visit the Valley should first confirm the status of their flights as due to weather conditions flights are getting delayed for Jammu and Kashmir.

He also said that there is not much difficulty in flight operations but due to inclement weather flights get delayed and soon after weather improves, flight operations are resumed. (KNS)
