Bandipora, June 25: In connection with the drive against encroachers, the enforcement team headed by Naib Tehsildar Sumbal Mohd. Hayat launched an anti-encroachment drive in Chewa area of Sumbal Tehsil  and freed seventy five Kanals of Kahchraie land from encroachment at Chewa village of North Kashmir's Bandipora district.

          During the drive, hundreds of trees were cut on the spot and tin sheds were demolished by the enforcement team. the land was demarcated and  retrevied. Officials said the drive will continue on wednesday.

         Besides this Assistant Commissioner  Revenue (ACR) Bandipora appreciate the whole staff for their dedication in making eviction drives successful. The ACR Bandipora Reyaz Ahmad Beigh reiterated that the drive will continue with full vigour and force in coming days.
