Jammu, April 04: In view of the heavy passenger rush and long waiting lists, the Jammu Division of Indian Railways has decided to attach an additional 3AC coach to Train No. 12425/12426 (Rajdhani Express), aiming to enhance passenger convenience and improve access to confirmed tickets.
As per the details, the additional 3AC coach will be attached to Train No. 12426 (Rajdhani Express) for the period from April 4 to April 10. The initiative is expected to provide improved travel comfort and accommodate the growing number of passengers during the peak season.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Uchit Singhal, stated that there has been a notable surge in passengers and tourists during the summer holidays. Keeping passenger convenience in mind, the decision to temporarily augment the train with an extra coach has been taken. He further added that similar arrangements may be implemented in other trains as per demand in the future.
Passengers can check berth availability in the additional coach and make bookings through the official IRCTC website or at railway reservation counters.
