AD FCS&CA bereaved, father passes away
Bandipora, Jan 14: Gh Hassan Najar, father of Assistant Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Bandipora Bilal Ahmad (JKAS) passed away on Saturday morning after a brief ilness at SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
The deceased was not keeping well from past few weeks and was shifted to SMHS hospital where he breathed his last at 7:30AM.
A large number of people turned up to attend the funeral prayers of Gh Hassan Najar at Malangam in Bandipora district on Friday afternoon. He was laid to rest at the ancestral graveyard in the same village.
Several social and political organisations besides other individuals expressed condolences with the bereaved family.
Employees of Food Civil Supplies and consumer Affairs expressed sympathies with the bereaved family. A delegation of the employees also visited the residence of bereaved family to express condolences and also participated in bereaved family.
Former legislator Nizamuddin Bhat expressed grief over demise of Najar and prayed for the departed soul.
"He was an embodiment of values , so enlightened, noble and pious a soul. A friend, a class mate of essence and a support is lost to destiny," he said in a tweet. "May he find his place in Jannah ( Aamiin )," he further stated in the tweet.
Former minister Usman Majid also took to social media to express grief over the demise of father of Assistant Director FCS&CA. "My deepest condolences to Bilal Ahmad on the sad demise of his father Gh Hassan Najar. In this time of grief, I pray to the Almighty to bestow strength upon the family to bear this irreparable loss," majid said in tweet.
