Jammu, Feb 29: Regional Provident Fund Commissioner (RPFC) Rizwan Ud Din on Thursday chaired a meeting of officers at its regional office in Jammu to discuss various issues regarding working towards ensuring social security to all the eligible members and their family members in Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.
An official spokesperson said the “Convergence” meeting was also attended by other vertical Heads of Ministry of Labour and Employment. Dr. Pankaj Rastogi, Regional Director (IC) DTNBWED, RO Jammu, Dushyant Pande, Deputy Director, ESIC, RO Jammu and Ajay Kumar, LEO Central, Jammu.
Spokesperson said the meeting discussed convergence programmes with Ministry of Labour and Employement besides other departments and also discussed the benefits of regular working in flexi hours were a team of officials from EPFO Regional Office Jammu is attending in early hours to offload inflow of claim.
It was given out that Sanjeev Kumar, SSSA has processed sixteen death cases on Wednesday and amounts would be disbursed to the members and family members of deceased persons. “Women/Family members of deceased employees are getting monthly pension as benefit of Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995 and benefits under Employees’ Deposit linked Insurance Scheme, their P F under Employees Scheme P F Scheme, 1995 in J& K and Ladakh,” officers informed.
On the occasion Ashwani Kumar, Programmer and Sanjeev Kumar, SSSA were felicitated in presence of Dr Pankaj Rastogi, Dushyant Pande and Shri Ajay Kumar, for their outstanding work for facilitation of subscribers in flexi-hours in the RO. Jammu.
Officers further informed that the grievances raised during the Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 held on Tuesday this week at BBIA Conference Hall Bari Brahmana, have been resolved withing two days.
On the occasion Pension claim of Late Sarwan Kumar Sharma of FIL Industries has been settled and pension disbursed to the nominees of deceased member. Similarly, death and Pension claims of Late Pawan Sharma, Inderjit Singh, Shakti Kumar of Sudhir Genset got settled.
