Rajouri, Jan 30: Maj Gen Manoj Natarajan on Wednesday visited Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) polyclinic Rajouri to review the healthcare services being provided at the clinic to the Veer Naris and Ex-Servicemen (ESM).
Defence Spokesperson Lt Col Suneel Bartwal said Major General was accompanied by
General Officer Commanding (GOC) 25 Infantry Division, Stn Cdr Rajouri, Commandant 150 GH and Director RC ECHS, Jammu.
During the visit, major general interacted with ESM and Veer Naris and inquired about their well-being. He also inspected the various medical facilities being provided at the Polyclinic. The Gen Officer informed the ESM about the various facilities being provided under ECHS and exhorted all to optimally utilise these services.
While reviewing the healthcare services at the centre, officer discussed Provision of Ambulance based mobile polyclinic in Rajouri & Poonch District, Empanelment ECHS Rajouri to the GMC Hospital, Rajouri and Laboratory cum Diagnostic centres in Rajouri, enhancement of facilities at polyclinic to include Dental Chair, Generator Set, E-Rickshaw & latest vintage Ambulance.
The meeting also discussed Upgradation of Laboratory and diagnostic Equipment at the polyclinic besides reviewing availability and Stocking of expensive medicines especially cancer medicines at polyclinic and Regional Centre level.
