Jammu, Jan 29: Indian Army stationed in Rajouri district on Monday organised an Inter Village Cricket Championship 2023-24 in Lam Cricket Ground in Rajouri district, featuring teams from Pokharni and Lehran Panchayat.
PRO Defence, Lt Col Suneel Bartwal said that the teams from Pokharni and Lehran Panchayat actively participated, showcasing their talent and embracing the true spirit of unity and sportsmanship. The event brought communities together, fostering camaraderie and goodwill on the field, he said.
"Embrace the spirit of unity and athleticism as the Indian army conducted the Inter Village Cricket Championship 2023-24, organised at Lam Cricket Ground, Rajouri," he said.
He said that the event marked a significant step towards promoting a healthy sporting culture and strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and local communities.
