Bandipora, Jan 18: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather Thursday chaired a meeting of concerned officers to discuss various aspects of Semi Ring Road Phase II.
The meeting discussed threadbare various aspects regarding the progress of semi ring road project phase-2, including land acquisition in sarai Dangerpora, shadipora, rakhi shilvat, shilvat and wangipora Ghat.
SDM Sumbal Amir Choudhary and Tehsildar Sumbal Zeeshan Tahir briefed the chair about various aspects of the project and progress made so far and also briefed about disposal of various objections filed by various land owners.
They further informed that all the proceedings have been disposed of regarding the issues of land acquisition. It was given out that semi ring road phase-2 covers 7 kms distance involving 05 villages in sumbal sub division.
The chair directed the concerned department for issuance of additional notification if required for the land involved in the project.
He asked the revenue officers of the administration and NHAI to work in close coordination to ensure proper execution of the semi ring road project phase-2.
He stressed on officers to remove bottlenecks, if any, to ensure timely completion of the project. Shakeel ur Rehman directed the concerned officers to expedite the process of payment in favour of land owners without delay.
The meeting was attended by ACR Bandipora Shabir Ahmad Wani, Project Director NHAI, SDM Sumbal Amir Choudhary, Tehsildar Sumbal Zeeshan Tahir and other concerned officers.
