Baramulla January 02: Police on Tuesday organised impressive farewell functions in the honour of outgoing officers in Baramulla and Budgam upon their transfer from the districts.
In Baramulla, Police organised a farewell function at Officers Mess Baramulla in the honour of outgoing SDPO Tangmarg Shri Ashfaq Alam-DySP upon his transfer from district Baramulla.
While speaking on the occasion, DIG NKR Baramulla Vivek Gupta & SSP Baramulla Amod Ashok Nagpure threw light on the tenure of outgoing officer and commended his supervisory skills, professionalism and decision making during toughest situations.
On the occasion, SP Hqrs Baramulla, CPO DPO Baramulla, DySP Hqrs Baramulla, DySP DAR DPL, SDPO Pattan, SDPO Uri, SDPO Kreeri, SDPO Tangmarg and other officers were also present.
In Budgam, Police organised a farewell function at Officers Longue DPL Budgam in the honour of outgoing SP Salim Jehangir and DySP DAR Shri Owais Rashid on their transfer from the district.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Budgam Al-Tahir Gilani threw light on the tenure of departing officers and commended their supervisory skills, professionalism and extended his best wishes to the outgoing officers. On the occasion, Addl. SP Budgam Raghav , SP CIU Budgam Aijaz Ahmad Malik, DySP Hqrs Sakib Ghani and other officers were also present.
Later on, the outgoing officers were presented mementos and gifts as a goodwill gesture. The outgoing officers shared their experience and extended their gratitude to all ranks of police for their cooperation during their tenure.(
