Srinagar Dec 03: In a significant development, fifteen students from Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) Srinagar captivated audiences with their innovative projects during the District-Level Project Presentation at the National Children's Science Congress (NCSC).
Organised at at Government Women Polytechnic College Bemina, the event aimed to Inspire, Empower, and Expand young minds to the world of science.
Dr. Sajad Sarvar, Professor of Zoology at Islamia College, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, commending the GVEI students for their exceptional innovation and presentation quality.
Expressing admiration for the depth of research and creativity, he lauded the young minds for their contributions.
As per the handout issued here, four out of the eight projects presented by GVEI students successfully advanced to the state level presentation, marking a significant achievement.
"Eight students from the school further participated in the State Level Project Presentation at NCSC, bringing forth exceptional projects that reflected dedication and creativity across various scientific disciplines," it reads.
Dr. Pooja Devi, Principal Secretariat at CSIR was the Chief Guest at the State Level Presentation.
Impressed by the depth of research and practical applications showcased by the students, she highlighted the importance of nurturing scientific acumen from a young age.
"The NCSC, catering to children aged 10-17 from both formal school systems and those outside, serves as a vital platform for exhibiting creativity, innovativeness, and problem-solving skills using scientific methods," it reads.
