Bandipora: Government Higher secondary School Chuntimulla on Monday organized an exposure visit to District Hospital Bandipora for students of the school specializing in the Health Care trade under vocational education Samagra Shiksha.
An official said that the purpose of this visit was to offer students a practical perspective beyond academics, allowing them to interact with professionals and observe firsthand clinical activities at the facility.
"During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore various sections of the hospital, including the emergency department, where they witnessed the staff efficiently and calmly attending to patients with medical emergencies. They also visited general wards, the RNTCP lab, and other IPD and OPD sections. The importance of sterilization and infection control practices was highlighted to the students," he said.
He said that the students engaged in meaningful interactions with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other staff members. These interactions provided valuable insights into the workings of their respective departments, the official said.
The official added that the hospital visit proved to be an eye-opening experience, offering students a deeper understanding of how each department collaborates to deliver quality care.
