Bandipora, July 26: Tehsil Legal Services Committee Sumbal on Wednesday organised a free mega medical camp at Imam Bargah Hussainy Mohalla in Shilwat area of Sumbal Sub Division.
An official spokesperson of the TLSA said the medical camp was held in view of the Muharram-ul-Haram 1445H, in collaboration with Community Health Centre Sumbal and under the aegis of JK Legal Services Authority.
The programme was organized under the supervision of Principal District and Sessions Judge Bandipora and Chairman District Legal Services Authority Bandipora Amit Sharma and under the guidance of Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Sumbal Bazila Bashir.
On the occasion the programme was formally inaugurated by Chairman TLSC Sumbal in presence of BMO Sumbal and SDPO Sumbal where a large number of people from the nearby areas availed free medical aid.
During the occasion Chairman TLSC Bazila Bashir lauded the organizers for holding the Free Medical Camp with the aim of providing easy, accessible and free medical aid to the masses.
She talked about the objective of Free Mega Medical Aid Camp and urged all stakeholders in the society to come forward and make such events possible.
Moreover a team of doctors were present there and requisite Medicare was provided to the general public, gathered at the venue free of cost and various medicines both Ayush and Allopathy were also provided in the free medical camp.
The Medical Camp team consisted of BMO, and a team of Doctors, Para medical staff & Staff of TLSC Sumbal along with Panel Lawyers and PLVs who made every effort to make the event successful.
