Khanyar Teenager Sarfaraz Ali Wins Gold at National Bokator Championship

Srinagar, June 6: Sarfaraz Ali, a talented 19-year-old youngster from Khanyar area of Srinagar city, has made his mark in the world of martial arts by securing a gold medal at the first national Bokator championship.

          Ali's remarkable achievement was celebrated at the Polo Ground Stadium, where the event took place.  His prowess in Bokator, an ancient battlefield martial art originating from Cambodia, impressed the judges and spectators alike.

          In addition to his victory at the national championship, Ali holds official positions in both pencak silat and Bokatar, further highlighting his dedication and expertise in the realm of martial arts.

          With his incredible success at such a young age, Sarfaraz Ali is set to represent his country at the upcoming Sea Games.

          Ali's journey serves as an inspiration for aspiring martial artists, proving that talent, perseverance, and a deep-rooted passion can help individuals realize their dreams and make their mark on the global stage.
