Bandipora May 31: Government Middle School Pati Dradpora Arin on Wednesday organised a mega event of a Parents-cum-Teachers meeting attended by hundreds of parents from PCO Dradpora.
An official said the event was presided over by the worthy Cluster Head, Manzoor Ahmad Khan, accompanied by Sr. Lecturer Javaid Ahmad Malik.
The inaugural proceedings began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hilal Ahmad Shah, the HOI of MS Pati School. PCO Head, Ajaz Ahmad Shah, facilitated the event and provided all logistical support in collaboration with Pati School.
Principal stressed and emphasized the importance of parental care after school hours towards their children. He extensively discussed the need and significance of education in this fast-changing world dominated by discoveries and inventions. He appealed to the parents to ensure regular school attendance for their children and discouraged them from taking their children and cattle to meadows during summers.
Officials said It was evident that there was a lack of proper communication and rapport between parents and the teaching staff. The Cluster Head acquainted the parents with the various educational facilities provided by the government for children, emphasizing the need to utilize them effectively.
Through an impressive speech, he made efforts to bridge the gap in slow learning and facilitate a process of efficient learning, resulting in 100% performance of the students in school.
Subsequently, a live interactive session was held to address queries, complaints, and problems, ensuring their on-spot resolution. The parents and teaching faculty appreciated the initiative of the Parents Meeting and expressed their desire for similar events to be conducted periodically in the future.
The Cluster Head expressed gratitude to the parents and teaching faculty, and commended the excellent arrangements made by the faculty of MS Pati under the guidance of the PCO Head.
Lastly, a short cultural program was organized by the students under the leadership of Ashiq Hussain. The performances of the young talents left the worthy Principal enthralled. It is noteworthy that the program concluded amicably on a high note, achieving great success.
