‘Entire’ staff of a PHC Ashtingoo found ‘absent’, put on notice

Bandipora, 16 March: Almost entire staff of Public Health centre Ashtingo in Bandipora was found absent from their duties and have been put on notice by the Block Medical Officer Bandipora.
Ten out of 12 staff members including Two medical officers (MO), two pharmacists, three nurses, one BHW, one driver and one sweeper were found absent following a surprise inspection at primary health centre (PHC) Ashtangoo in Bandipora by the Block medical officer (BMO) Dr Masarat Iqbal on 13 March.
A show-cause notice has been served to the employeesemployees asking them to explain their position before action shall be taken against them.
BMO impressed upon the officers to ensure the punctuality of their subordinate staff to ensure effective service delivery. " During a surprise visit on 13-03-2023 at around 11:00 Am, the below mentioned officers /officials of PHC Ashtingoo, who were found late on duty are directed to explain their position and why action under rules shall not be initiated against them. They shall
submit the reply in the office u/sd within a day positively," reads the order . Also their RDA (2 ½ Days salary)
will be deducted for the month of March 2023 reads the order.
