Bandipora, 08 Sep: Nadeem Fayaz, a young student from Onagam village in Bandipora district of north Kashmir has scored 617 marks in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2022 examination, a result of which was declared on Wednesday by the National Testing Agency.
The NEET-UG exam was held on July 17, 2022, in pen and paper mode in 13 languages including Urdu. “I was expecting that I would crack the NEET this time as I had faced the setback last time," Nadeem said.
He said, “I am thankful to Almighty Allah for bestowing me with success. My success wouldn’t have been possible without the support and efforts of parents and teachers of Aakash Institute Srinagar and New Era coaching institute Bandipora”
Nadeem said, “My dream was to become a doctor which is now going to come true." He said that the setback had changed him as a person as he "felt heartbroken" when he didn't qualify for the first time. However, Nadeem didn't let the failure pull him down, instead, he put more energy and doubled his hard work to crack the exams this time.
"The earlier setback broke me down as I had full faith that I will qualify it," Nadeem said, adding that, "with a positive mindset and determination towards the set goal I was able to taste success this time."
He said, "honesty and hard work go a long way and that never let the failures decide your destiny."
Nadeem who according to his family, "always topped in the school which included 10th and 12th classes was confident that he will crack the exams as everyone including us were looking forward to it," his relatives said.
