BANDIPORA, MARCH 15: The Department of Education in collaboration with District Administration Bandipora and Forest Department today organised a plantation drive at Maddar, Bandipora.
The drive was conducted in collaboration with the Forest Department and District Administration Bandipora.
Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Abul Roub Shad along with ZEO and ZEPO Bandipora conducted plantation drive at Girls/Boys Middle School Maddar, Bandipora.
The drive was conducted under the initiative ‘Scaling up Green J&K Programme’. Teachers, students and PRIs along with officials of the Forest Department participated in the drive.
At least 150 plant saplings of Doedar were planted within the premises of the Institute with the pledge to save the environment for present and future generations. The students and teachers also pledged to adopt the saplings for their proper care.
