B’pora girl qualifies for National Wushu Championship

Bandipora, March 20: Tajamul islam- a seven year old girl from Bandipora is a little champ in Martial Arts. She made history as she became the first Sub-Junior category to qualify for national Wushu Championship 2016 to be held in Uttrakhand on March 26 to March 31.

Wushu is a Chinese Martial Art Sports, recognized and played all over the world. It is also a regular event in both Olympic and Asian games and is almost all other major sporting events in the world.

In India, the game is recognized by the India Olympic Association, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India and J&K State Sports Council.

The game is also included in the list of Games Published in the J&K State SRO for the consideration of various jobs and administrations in professional colleges in the state and recently wushu is also recognized by School Games Federation .IMG-20160312-WA0003
