Bandipora, 21 Feb: In a first, Tehsildar Bandipora has distributed more than 4300 different certificates including income certificates, ST, SC, OBC, RBA and domicile certificates at Tehsil office Bandipora
An official said that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Tehsil office Bandipora under the supervision of Tehsildar Bandipora Sheikh Tariq issued hundreds of different certificates particularly for student community aiming to avail scholarship benefits.
“During the tenure, Tehsildar Bandipora Sheikh Tariq along with Naib Tehsildar's Ab Rashid, Zeeshan Ahmad, Mohammad Ashraf handed over more than 4300 certificates with out any delay.”
Meanwhile, Tehsildar Bandipora, Sheikh Tariq said that the main objective of issuing certificates is that entire field staff was kept available for on spot verification and issuance of certificates.l
He said that different camps were organised in different villages to benefit students from dozen villages of far-flung areas of Tehsil Bandipora.
He said that students had to travel from far-flung areas to get income certificates for applying for scholarships, which would waste their time and money so this the camp was organised in their locality.
He informed that over 4300 certificates were issued in these day long camps to the students belonging to many villages.
He further added that such camps will be held frequently along the length and breadth of Tehsil to bypass cumbersome formalities for students and help them avail benefits on the spot.
Tehsildar also interacted with the parents of students and people of respective villages during the mela who came for receiving income certificates for their children.
Meanwhile, locals of these villages said that they are thankful to Tehsildar Bandipora for organising the mega camp and without any delay they received hundreds of certificates especially for the benefits of students.
