We Fail to Attend The Failures
N.A.Wani
In our society, qualifying the 10th and 12th class exams are regarded as milestones in the career of a student. We celebrate the success of qualifiers in these exams. In fact, the qualifiers deserve the congratulations, appreciation, rewards, and societal gifts from their near and dear ones. Achievement itself is reward for the qualifiers; it proves as a positive energy, motivation for them in their future endeavors. Their achievement itself is source of their joy and motivation. And if unattended at the time of their success by people, affect them least. On the other hand, what we do for the non-qualifiers? Label them, stigmize them, talk about them but not with them. This is all what we have for them. They are internally broken and remain unattended by their near and dear ones at the time, when they need them most. All this adversely impact their careers and lives. Someone has rightly said.
Kuch to Mujbooriyan Rahi Hogi
Yonhi Koyi Bewafa Nahi Hota
Nobody wants to be disloyal to his parents, relatives and teachers. Still mankind becomes disloyal due to situations. Nobody wants to fail. But people fail and fail due to some reasons. Failure is painful itself. Those who face it in these exams may lead them de-motivated, in a state of stress, melancholy, and hopelessness. So in such situations they need you more than any other occasion in their lives. Help them; encourage them with words of hope. There is proverb, A drowning man catches straw. A word of support, encouragement can help them to face this painful event of failure. They need the support of their parents, relatives and friends. Give them hug, talk with them, listen to them and be there, when they need you most.
And those who fail must remember that the failure in exam is perhaps painful in itself, but the failure does not define the life and is not end of life. They must introspect themselves to analyze their strategies, way of studying, weakness, habits, reason for their failure in order to correct their mistakes for future. Be hopeful, there is another chance and make that chance your chance of success. You will find thousands of examples in every sphere of life, where individuals fail at one stage of life and later on, set examples for others as achievers. They took their failures in a positive way and learned lessons from their failures. They framed new strategies, timelines, remained more focused, identified their weaknesses, mistakes and resolved to do better. They too felt distressed but never surrendered. Instead, they confront the challenges and keep working on them. They believed on themselves and converted their setbacks into future success.
