Bandipora, March 17: Assistant Regional Transport Officer Bandipora, Mukhtar Ahmad today organized a traffic awareness talk for students at Government Boys High School Onagam Bandipora.
More than one hundred and fifty students and the entire school staff participated in the talk wherein the inspector Abdul Hamid made them aware about the traffic rules and regulations.
He advised students to remain alert while crossing road, boarding or de-boarding buses and never hang up on vehicles. He further impressed upon the students to aware their elders about not attending cell phone calls while driving. He also asked the students to follow traffic rules and regulations for avoiding mishap on the road . The Headmaster of the Government Boys High School Onagam also spoke on the occasion.
