JKAP 5th Bn celebrates its Raising Day
DGP, J&K, ADGP Armed extend good wishes to officers and Jawans
Srinagar January 22: JKAP 5th Bn today commemorated its raising day at Battalion Headquarters PCR, Kashmir. The Battalion was raised on this day in the year 1970.
To celebrate the day, Bada Khana was organized for Jawans and officers of the Battalion. Adherence to COVID-19 protocols/ SOPs was ensured during the function.
The Director General of Police J&K Shri Dilbag Sing and ADGP Armed J&K Shri SJM Gillani and other officers have extended their good wishes to the officers and Jawans of the Battalion. They have enjoined upon all the officers and officials to work with great zeal & zest to uphold the rule of law under all circumstances and serve the people with dedication and sincerity.
Pertinent to mention that the battalion has been deployed for multifarious tasks in last over five decades.
