Jammu, December 10: Regional Office, Employees Provident Fund Office (EPFO) Jammu on Friday organised ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ programme for the month of December for the stakeholders of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, EPFO spokesperson said Regional PF Commissioner-I Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-II Ajit Mishra and RPFC-II Harinder Singh attended the visitors personally in the programme that was attended by a number of Employers as well Employees.
Officials said during the programme, one of the employee’s sons, Aman Cheema, from M/s Manager Passenger Service appeared in the programme for the redressal of his father’s grievance. “His father namely Gurdeep Singh Cheema was admitted in the hospital. The past accumulation was not shown in his father passbook in respect of UAN 10160483309, hesaid”.
Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I sought out the issue and guided Pranav Gupta, ASO to check details of JKEPFO. “He checked and found that his contribution was transferred to another UAN of this member. Accordingly, he was guided to complete his KYC details and submit Form-13 to merge his Father’s multiple UAN numbers”.
Statements further stated that representatives of the establishment – Oakhill Institute Education visited the office with grievances related to double payment of ECR for the same month. Rizwan Uddin RPFC – I issued an order to immediately rectify the mistake and directed DA CASH to refund the amount and DA ACCOUNT Sanjeev Kumar to rectify double entries in the member balances.
Tilak Raj, from B D Security Pvt. Ltd. appeared with request for approval for name change from Pawan Kumar to Tilak Raj. The matter was taken earnestly, and the PF commissioner gave directions to process the case immediately. The requested correction was effected the same day. Corrections in member profile in respect of Chhajju Ram and Gharu Ram from M/s. Jamkash Vehicleades Pvt. Ltd., Rajesh Kumar, Ram swaroop Rajakand, Kamal Raj from M/s. Gurjeet Labor Contractor, and Suresh Kumar from M/s. Friends Enterprises have been made as per request by 01:00 PM today. Advance claims of Shri Aman Kumar were settled. Ramesh Kumar Ganjoo from G4S Security Pvt. Ltd and Kamaljeet Choudhary were not able to avail online services provided by EPFO, the issue was taken up and members were asked to submit Joint Declaration to correct the member’s credentials.
“Parveen Kumar from CAPD PD Dept. appeared for activation of UAN. Their UAN was activated at the same time. Lakhbir Kour from Sant Mela Singh College and Manoj Khajuria appeared in the programme related KYC issue. Employers of both the members were asked to update their KYC. Dharmendra Kumar, SSSA was advised to settle Advance PF claims of Aman Sharma”.
Spokesperson said the endeavor of ' ‘Nidhi Apke Nikat '' programme has always been to redress the maximum number of cases/grievances the same day or at the earliest. He said EPFO Jammu is servicing the entire area (J & K and Ladakh) from Jammu, Srinagar and Ladakh with regard to settlement of claims. Considering the large number of grievances and to ensure service delivery at doorstep, various online initiatives of EPFO such as balance enquiry, filing of online claims including transfer and Covid 19 advance claims and members’ basic details were explained with hands-on demonstration.
