DC orders withheld salary of absentees
Bandipora, Mar 17: Twenty five employees were found absent from their legitimate duties in Gurez valley of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district, Tehsildar Gurez informed DC Bandipora on wednesday.
As per reports, Tehsildar Gurez during a surprise inspection at Special sub division Gurez, Forest department, Social Welfare, Gurez found at least twenty five employees unauthorizedly absent from their duties.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmad ordered withheld the salaries of absentees and directed them to report to their duties and also explain the reasons for their unauthorised absence to this office through their respective controlling officers within 02 days failing which disciplinary proceedings as per CSR shall be initiated within any further notice reads the order lying with this reporter.
Earlier, dozens of employees including from the Education department were also found absent from duties in Gurez valley after which administration is continuously keeping close eye on them.
