Srinagar, Dec 23: JK Teachers Forum hold condolence meet at Boniyar, expressed profound grief and shock over the death of Mr Muneer Ahmad Lone, Rehbar e Taleem Teacher.
A high level delegation of JK Teachers Forum led by its Chairman and President EJAC Mr Mohd Rafique Rather Monday visited the residence of bereaved family of Muneer Ahmad teacher, where they expressed grief and shock over the sudden and sudden death of Mr Muneer Ahmad, a Rehbar e Taleem Teacher who lost the battle of his life and left for heavenly abode yesterday at his residence Nowshara Boniyar.
Mr Rather while paying tributes to the deceased said, the death is inevitable and all mortals irrespective of any faith have to taste it from this ephemeral to realistic world.
While expressing solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved family he said, the death is a collosal loss but we have to maintain our composure in such tragic and hard times. He said, I am sharing the pain and agony of the family on behalf of teaching community and employees fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir.
All the leaders prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and fortitude to the family to face this difficult time.
In the meantime Mr Rather expressed his strong resentment and displeasure against the unnecessary delay in his regularisation. He said the deceased has been appointed as EV in 2005 on the analogy of ReT pattern but despite more than 10 years service his regularisation process has been put at halt for unknown reasons which he termed as unfair and unjustified and said that redtapisim is responsible for the miseries of hundreds of grade2 and grade 3 teachers who have not been paid their due salaries inspite of clear cut directions from administrative deparment thus has left these teachers to starve for no fault of theirs.Urging worthy director to investigate this unnecessary official delay to fix the responsibility and punish those found guilty he said that regularisation to these teachers should be issued without any further delay othere wise there will be no option but to hit the streets to demand justice.
Rafigue Rather while demanding immediate service benefits/SRO to the elder son of deceased said that the deceased had dedicated his life in Teaching and has left his kith & kins without any source of income. in this regard on spot directions were issued to zonal president Boniyar Mr.Javid Ahmad to be in touch and provide feed back to central leadership from time to time till service issues of deceased are adressed.
Others who were in the delegation are Parvaiz Ahmad provincial coordinator, Sheikh Manzoor VP Baramulla along zonal body Chandoosa, Bhat Altaf district organisor along Zonal body Fathgarh, , Ajaz lone Tehsil president Uri along ZP's Nassir Ahmad Uri,Javid Ahmad Boniyar, Arif Ahmad Chandanwari, ZP Baramulla Javid Ahmad along his zonal body, Farooq Hussain Singhpora kalan with zonal body, zp Rohama Iqbal Ahmad, ZP dangiwacha Gh nabi and scores of teachers from chandosa,Singhpora, Boniyaar, chananwari, Uri and jhulla.
