Bandipora, Oct 15: Bandipora Police on Thursday held a meeting with Traders of Bandipora with an aim to strengthen the Police-Public relation.
The meeting was chaired by Station House Officer (SHO) Bandipora Showkat Ahmad and attended by members of traders federation Bandipora lead by President Traders Federation Shamshad Ahmad
SHO Bandipora said the main objective of the meeting was to sensitize public about many social issues including drug addiction, corruption, traffic mess and other issues being faced by the public.
During the meeting participants discussed many issues with the police officer and shared their suggestions to solve the issues prevalent in the area.
The participants were assured by SHO Bandipore that their genuine demands will be highlighted before appropriate forums and policing will be made more people friendly besides sought their support in curbing social menace prevalent in the society.
