No IED blast in Poonch LoC, army soldier injured in accidental explosive during training: Defence spokesman

Poonch, May 22:  : The Jammu based defence spokesman of Army on Wednesday denied any IED blast having taken place in Mendhar area of Poonch LoC sector.

In an emailed statment, the spokesman said one soldier got seriously injured while as others suffered minor injuries in a training event accident in forward area in Poonch sector. "There was no IED blast in the area. It was an accidental explosive of low intensity which caused injuries to our soldiers," he said.
