NC Kick-starts election campaign in Bandipora

Speakers impressed on to strengthen party at grassroots

Bandipora, 24 March: National Conference parliamentary candidate for Baramulla parliamentary constituency Mohammad Akbar Lone Sunday kick-starts his campaign in Bandipora.

          Lone addressed a rally in Bandipora that was attended by former MP Sharif-ud-Din Shariq, Former MLA Bandipora Gh Rasool Naz, Secretary North Zone Nazir Ahmad Malik and Mohammad Abdullah Wani besides other Youth leaders were present on the occasion and was attended by a large number of National Conference workers from Bandipora constituency.

          While addressing the gathering, Senior leaders exhorted upon the National Conference workers to work hard for strengthening the party at grass root level and predicted that National Conference will form New Government in Jammu Kashmir.

          Advocate Nazir Ahmad Malik while speaking on the occasion highlighted several local issues and alleged that the National Conference workers were being discriminated by the local MLA and by some Ministers. He appealed the party workers to remain united to defeat the opportunist forces. He added that successive MLA's have totally failed to meet the demands of locals resulting in anger among them. "The people of Bandipora are fed up now and want to see the change"

He said that congress played vital role in defaming Kashmiris and putting the dignity of Kashmiri's at stake. He sought peoples support in the forthcoming LS polls to protect state’s integrity and special identity from the machinations of RSS-BJP and their cronies in Kashmir. He said that NC has been raising issues of people in every forum and that National Conference is the only party that boasts a socio-political road map for the state.
