Anantnag, Mar 5, CNS: A police vehicle with six police personnel and 2 prisoners onboard met with an accident when it was travelling from Sub-Jail Mattan towards Court Complex Kulgam.
In the mishap which happened at Kheerbal Mattan, few police personnel and two prisoners onboard received injuries.
The injured were taken to hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries and all stated to be stable. Few of them have been discharged after receiving preliminary medical treatment while two prisoners and few police personnel continue to receive medical treatment.
Police is investigating the cause of accident.
