Bandipora, October 21: Bandipora Police, in coordination with the Army and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), conducted a joint Counter-Insurgency Response System (CIRS) mock drill at Hajin Bridge on Wednesday to assess security preparedness and inter-agency coordination.
According to an official from Bandipora Police, the exercise involved personnel from the Special Operations Group (SOG) Hajin, 13 Rashtriya Rifles and the 45th Battalion CRPF.
He said that the drill was aimed at assessing operational readiness, response mechanisms and coordination among the participating forces in dealing with potential security contingencies.
Bandipora Police remains committed to maintaining peace and security in the district through preparedness, coordination and professional policing, he reiterated.
