Srinagar, Sep 28 : Four legislators, including two each from the BJP and the Congress, were marshalled out of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Monday amid an uproar in the House.
BJP MLAs Arvind Gupta and Vikram Randhawa, along with Congress legislators Advocate Irfan Hafeez Lone and Iftikhar Ahmed, were removed from the Assembly by marshals as proceedings were disrupted.
The action came amid heated exchanges and protests on the floor of the House, with members raising slogans and creating an uproar during the proceedings.
The marshals intervened to restore order and escorted the four MLAs out of the Assembly.
