Kashmir Convener Journalists Felicitated on Independence Day

Srinagar, August 15: Four correspondents of Kashmir Convener were felicitated by the administration on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day in recognition of their contribution to journalism, dedicated rural reporting and consistent efforts in highlighting issues of public importance.

Suhail Khan, Correspondent, Kashmir Convener, was felicitated by ADC Sopore Dr. S. A. Raina in recognition of his contribution and dedicated work in the field of journalism. He has been actively covering important issues, developments and events across Kashmir Valley and beyond, bringing significant stories and matters of public interest to a wider audience through his journalistic work.

 

Bilal Habib, Correspondent, Kashmir Convener, Pulwama, was felicitated by ADC Awantipora in recognition of his dedicated work and contribution to journalism. Habib has been actively covering public issues, developmental activities and significant events from Pulwama and Awantipora, helping bring matters of public importance to the forefront.

Wahid Rafeeqi, Correspondent, Kashmir Convener, Bandipora, was felicitated by Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Indu Kanwal Chib for his contribution to journalism and sustained efforts in highlighting public issues, local developments and important stories from the district. Through his reporting, Rafeeqi has consistently brought matters concerning the people of Bandipora to the wider public domain.

Meer Irfan, Reporter, Kashmir Convener, Shopian, was felicitated by SDM Zainapora Bilal Ahmad in recognition of his contribution to journalism. Irfan has been consistently covering issues of public interest, local developments and important events from Shopian, giving voice to public concerns and bringing them to the attention of the authorities and wider public.
