Massive Wildlife Awareness and Sanitation Drive Conducted at Shar Shali, Buddalav Khrew

Khrew, June 15: A massive awareness-cum-sanitation drive was conducted at various locations of Shar Shali and Buddalav Khrew on the directions of the Wildlife Warden, Central Division Srinagar.

The programme was led by Range Officer Khrew, Mohammad Ashraf Kabli, along with the Wildlife JCR Shar staff and labourers. As part of the drive, the team carried out door-to-door awareness campaigns in Buddalav Khrew to educate residents about wildlife conservation and environmental protection, officials told Kashmir Convener.

A large gathering of youth also participated in an awareness session held at the Shar Shali Shooting Lodge. During the programme, participants were informed about the dos and don’ts related to wildlife protection, conservation measures, and maintaining cleanliness in ecologically sensitive areas.

An interactive question-and-answer session was also organized, during which participants raised various queries that were addressed in detail by the officials. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation and helped enhance public understanding of wildlife conservation and environmental responsibility.

The programme concluded with a renewed commitment from the participants to support wildlife protection efforts and maintain cleanliness in their respective areas.
