Gurugram, June 4: Samsung India felicitated 30 outstanding students from across the country under its Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) programme, awarding ₹1 lakh each to top performers in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Coding & Programming, Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data.

The awardees, comprising four national toppers, 26 state-level toppers, and one social media champion, were selected from a pool of over 20,000 students trained under Samsung’s flagship CSR initiative during the 2025 cohort. The winners represented 10 states, highlighting the growing emergence of technology talent beyond metropolitan cities.

The students were honoured at Samsung India’s headquarters in Gurugram in the presence of JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia. Addressing the gathering, Park encouraged students to continue learning and innovating, describing AI, coding and data skills as essential tools for the future workforce.

Aligned with the Government of India’s Skill India and Digital India missions, Samsung Innovation Campus aims to equip youth with industry-relevant skills in emerging technologies while fostering innovation, critical thinking and digital leadership.

Among the awardees, Aishwarya Sanjay from Karnataka developed an AI-driven model to improve market access for farmers, while Shivam Singh from Uttar Pradesh worked on IoT, cybersecurity and automation projects that helped him secure an internship with the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT).

The programme is implemented in collaboration with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) and the Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC). As part of the recognition programme, students also visited Samsung’s R&D centres in Noida and Delhi and interacted with technology leaders to gain insights into innovation, product development and emerging technologies.

Samsung said the initiative continues to create pathways for young talent to access technology education, mentorship and career opportunities, contributing to the development of a digitally empowered and innovation-driven India.
