Awantipora, May 19: Under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, police continue to intensify efforts against drug abuse and narcotics trafficking across the area. As part of the sustained anti drug campaign, narcotic related raids and searches are being conducted at multiple locations in Ladermur, Larkipora, and Woyen to identify and take action against individuals involved in illegal narcotics activities.
In parallel with enforcement measures, awareness initiatives are also being undertaken to educate the public, especially youth, about the harmful effects of drug abuse. In this regard, a Drug Awareness Programme was organized at Bus Stand Khrew, where participants were sensitized regarding the dangers associated with narcotics and encouraged to actively contribute towards creating a drug free society.
Police reiterate their commitment towards the objectives of Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan and urge the general public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies by sharing any information related to drug peddling or substance abuse to ensure a safer and healthier society.
